With a deep passion for gardening, nature and the environment at large - is it any wonder I combined my craftsman skills to create a job I love?
Every day, ideas and products are born at Creative Woodcraft HQ – as my family and I continually look for ways to help nature and home gardeners throughout New Zealand.
What started out as a side-line hobby in 2010 quickly became a full-time commitment, as the demand for high quality and hand crafted garden products took off.
Based in South Canterbury, we are a family owned and operated business with the strong aim to provide a wide range of expertly constructed wildlife and garden products to this beautiful country.
Since our very humble beginnings, Creative Woodcraft has grown into New Zealand’s largest specialist supplier of wildlife habitat, bird and garden related products and with a range including nesting boxes, bird feeders and shelters for a variety of nature’s finest.
We are passionate about assisting and increasing pollination for the home gardener and are delighted to have a working relationship with world renowned entomologist, Dr Barry Donovan, of Donovan Scientific Research, based in Lincoln. Dr Donovan assisted in designing our bee related products for their quality and effectiveness and we can count on his endorsement and support going forward – ensuring we are consistently putting out the best products to meet our customer’s needs.
At Creative Woodcraft we are starting to feel a great deal of satisfaction and relief, as we believe people are beginning to recognise the significant decline of our much loved garden birds, the rapid decline in the country’s bee population and the ongoing threats that these falling statistics present to future pollination of our gardens and food supplies.
We have teamed up and given our support to several key projects around the country and we hope to continue pushing the key messages and working with like-minded people to achieve a better environment for generations to come.
Creative Woodcraft is here to help stop decline and raise awareness of our all important pollinators and with your help, it’s only a matter of time before we start to see the numbers turn in the right direction – so if you have any questions or queries, or if you want further information – please get in touch today.
