The seed tray catches fallen seed keeping it from the ground and has good drainage preventing tray from becoming waterlogged.

The tray can be used to place additional types of food - fruit, bread, cake crumbs etc. the tray can also be used as a platform to place a water dish.

Siting

A quiet location with a good view from the house is normally the best place. This allows you to enjoy observing the garden birds while they feed or nest with little disturbance.

Choose a site sheltered from extremes of weather, but where the birds have a good all-round view, so they can see that they are safe from predators.

Maintenance

The feeder is made from quality timber sourced from local, sustainably managed forest plantations. Non-toxic water based stains and sealants are used wherever possible in the manufacturing of our products. The bird feeder can be re-stained periodically to maintain its appearance.
